Reflected Glory

Reflected Glory

is like the lovely moon which has no light of its own.

It simply reflects the light of the sun.

What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but he has no works?

Can that faith save him?

If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, be warmed and be filled," and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?

Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.

But someone may well say, "You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works."

You believe that God is One. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.

But are you willing to recognize, you foolish fellow, that faith without works is useless?

Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?

You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected; and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "AND ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD, AND IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS," and he was called the friend of God.

You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone.

In the same way, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way?

For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

(James 2:14-26, NASB )

So, let us show God's Reflected Glory by believing and obeying His Words!

Do I trust in the Living God Who gives me faith as a gift

so that I can know and serve Him?

Or do I trust in myself and what I can do?

Do I believe that my improved ability to function physically is due

to medicinal drugs, and do I praise those drugs because I feel better?

Let us return to "square one" -- one of God's gifts for our health.

It is a profoundly simple reward for obedience to God's Voice.

Moses had just led the Children of Israel safely through the Red Sea,

and the returning waters had drowned the chariot-drivers and horses:

Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness and found no water.

When they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter; therefore it was named Marah.

So the people grumbled at Moses, saying, "What shall we drink?"

Then he cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a tree; and he threw it into the waters, and the waters became sweet. There He made for them a statute and regulation, and there He tested them.

And He said, "If you will give earnest heed to the voice of the LORD your God, and do what is right in His sight, and give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes,   I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians;

for I, the LORD, am your healer."

Then they came to Elim where there were twelve springs of water and seventy date palms, and they camped there beside the waters.   [Abundant provision]

(Exodus 15:22-27 NASB)

Dawn

God's Reflected Glory

is seen in the acts of faith He works through His children.

They don't  "psych themselves up" or exercise their muscles as an athlete does.

They don't use pharmaceutical drugs to enhance their performance.

They seek HIS will, then they co-create with Him by speaking His Word.

God's love, His Glory light will radiate through their redeemed humanity.

God's Reflected Glory

is like the lovely moon which has no light of its own. It simply reflects the light of the sun.

In the reflected glory light of God, His children will do the same things that Yeshua (Jesus) did.

God's great love will be manifested in such a situation. His great truth will become  clear,

And God's judgment on satan's evil, lying works will be accomplished:

The blind will see.

The deaf will hear.

The lame will walk

And the dead will be raised to life again.
