The number of Iraqis displaced by ISIS terrorists is staggering. Christians and other religious minorities in the region need much more than food and water. Please read my urgent update below to find out how you can help today - Mat.

FOX News reported today that an estimated 1.5 million people in Iraq have been forced from their homes. For context, that number is higher than the population in ten of America's 50 states!

With ISIS terrorists still threatening Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities, calls are increasing for the U.S. to do more than provide humanitarian relief.  A community leader in Phoenix, who has family in Iraq, told FOX News:

"It does not matter how much food and water I provide if I do nothing about the terrorist that is holding a gun to your head. ... It is an imminent genocide if the international powers do not step in right now."

The article also explained that the man's relatives told him "they are in a 'dire' situation with no access to shelter, food or water, and [they] fear constant attacks by terrorists."

+ + RUN Ministries' network of believers is bringing relief to thousands of Iraqi Christians.

For almost a week now, I've been telling you about RUN Ministries' network of believers in the Middle East. These brave men and women are risking their lives to quell the threat of dehydration, starvation, and ISIS genocide. Today, RUN Ministries president Eric Watt sent this encouraging update about their ongoing relief efforts:

Here's the latest status report so you and your Liberty Counsel Action friends know exactly what RUN Ministries has been able to accomplish, so far, in northern Iraq. We have now mobilized five strategic bases throughout the country and have rescued hundreds of displaced families. Hundreds of house-church leaders have trained elite teams to continue rescuing Christians, Yazidis and other ethnic minorities. And as I type this, the first 100-family "Community of Hope" refugee camp is being established with many more to come!

Even in the face of ISIS terrorists and their "kill quotas," RUN Ministries' local leaders are bringing relief to thousands. Eric says the "Community of Hope" refugee camps will provide "love, care, protection, food and shelter" to hundreds of families in northern Iraq.

+ + Your tax-deductible gift will help provide food, water, and shelter to displaced Iraqis.

RUN Ministries is doing great work in the region, but they estimate that more than 100,000 families need assistance. Can you help?

Your tax-deductible donation to RUN Ministries will mobilize their network of believers to build "Community of Hope" refugee camps that will provide water, food, and shelter to Iraqi Christians and other displaced religious minorities. Please go here now to make a gift of any amount:

RUN estimates that providing food, water, and shelter for one Iraqi believer costs about $8 per day. For $56, you can help someone for an entire week. A family of four can receive seven days of humanitarian relief for a contribution of $224.

Your tax-deductible gift will help Iraqi Christians and other religious minorities facing dehydration, starvation, and ISIS genocide. Every donation helps!

Finally, please continue to pray for RUN Ministries workers and the 1.5 million displaced Iraqis. The persecution of Christians continues, and this crisis is far from over.

God bless you!
